For over a decade, Floatworks Vauxhall has been more than just a wellness centre, it’s been a sanctuary for South Londoners seeking rest, recovery, and rejuvenation. Today, we’re sharing an important update about our Vauxhall location and what this means for our community.
After extensive discussions with our landlord regarding lease renewal and refurbishment of our Vauxhall site, we’ve received the difficult news that they have rejected our renewal terms. Despite our best efforts to reach an agreement that would allow us to continue serving South London from this beloved location, the decision ultimately rested with our landlord, and regrettably, they have chosen not to proceed.
Effective immediately, Floatworks Vauxhall is now closed.
This wasn’t an easy decision to announce. For over ten years, our Vauxhall centre has been home to countless wellness journeys. We’ve witnessed transformations; from stressed professionals finding calm through float therapy, to individuals managing chronic pain through our Red Light Therapy Massage Pods, to families discovering the power of rest and recovery together.
The Vauxhall community has been nothing short of extraordinary, and we’re genuinely grateful for the trust and support you’ve shown us over this decade. Your loyalty has been the foundation of everything we’ve built in South London.
Whilst saying goodbye to Vauxhall is bittersweet, we’re excited about what comes next. We remain fully committed to South London and are actively seeking a new location that not only matches the quality and space of our Angel site, but exceeds it.
Our vision is to find somewhere larger than our current Vauxhall space. This expansion will allow us to offer more float pods, additional massage facilities, and enhanced wellness experiences. We’re determined to bring South London a Floatworks centre that truly reflects our commitment to exceptional service and world-class facilities.
We understand this closure may be disappointing, especially if Angel feels like a journey from where you are. However, we’d love to welcome you to Floatworks Angel, where all of your favourite experiences await.

Once you arrive at Angel Station, we’re just 8 minutes away via the beautiful Camden Passage, a scenic walk through one of London’s most charming neighbourhoods.
Whilst you’re visiting us at Angel, why not explore the vibrant local area? Camden Passage is home to independent shops and antique dealers, Chapel Market offers a fantastic farmer’s market atmosphere, and Regent’s Canal provides a peaceful walk. Angel Central shopping is also nearby for any post-float relaxation treats.
