Floatation Benefits

Stress Relief

An hour where nothing is asked of you, and your stress chemistry knows it.

Floating removes the inputs that keep your fight-or-flight system switched on. With nothing to see, hear or hold up, stress hormones fall measurably.

01

How floating helps

Cortisol, the body's main stress hormone, falls sharply when there is nothing left to respond to. Suspended in warm Epsom salt water with no light, sound or gravity to manage, the fight-or-flight system finally stands down and the rest-and-digest state takes over. An hour of that stillness undoes tension the body has been holding for weeks.

02

What the research says

Floatation-REST studies consistently show reduced cortisol and blood pressure during sessions, with participants reporting significantly lower perceived stress afterwards. The effect strengthens over repeated floats, and researchers note that the relaxation reached in the tank runs measurably deeper than resting in a chair for the same period.

03

What you'll feel

Shoulders that finally drop, a jaw that unclenches, and a strange lightness on the walk home. Most floaters describe the rest of the day as moving at half speed, in the best way, with the calm carrying well into the week.
