Floatation Benefits

Pregnancy Support

Weightlessness, finally: deep comfort for you and the bump.

Floating in the second and third trimester takes the full weight of pregnancy off your spine, hips and feet. Many mums call it the best hour of the month.

01

How floating helps

From the second trimester, extra weight sits on the spine, hips and feet all day long. In the pod that load disappears entirely: half a tonne of Epsom salt supports every kilo of you and the bump, taking all pressure off the lower back and pelvis. Many mums describe it as their first full-body rest since the first trimester.

02

What the research says

Research on floating in pregnancy is young but encouraging, with studies reporting reduced back pain, better sleep and lower stress in pregnant participants. Warm-water buoyancy has long been recommended for late-pregnancy comfort. We welcome floating from week 13 onwards and suggest checking in with your midwife first.

03

What you'll feel

Total relief in the lower back the moment you settle, a bump that finally weighs nothing, and quite often the strongest kicks of the week from a very relaxed baby. Sleep on float nights tends to be the best of the month.
