Why we plant trees?

At Floatworks, our goal is to share the positive impact floating can have on people’s lives and to improve their health and wellbeing. We also think it is important to take care of the planet while we are at it. We are proud to be a carbon neutral business and want to do more to reverse the impact of deforestation, to contribute to the regrowing of wildlife habitats and raising awareness on climate changes.

That is why we are committed to plant one tree with every float session purchased online or at one of our float centres. To kick start the Forest of Floatworks, we donated 300 Cryptomeria Japonica trees in the Chitwan National Park as part of the Eden Project in Napel in May 2021.

Where do we plant our trees?

We are currently supporting the Eden Projects in Nepal and Madagascar via our partner, Tree-Nation, an organisation dedicated to fighting climate change. With over 250,000 people and 6,000 companies engaged, we believe this organisation can make a meaningful impact on a global scale.

Did you know…

Each Cryptomeria Japonica tree offsets 40kg CO2 per year, that is 800kg of CO2 in its lifetime!
